What is Better – Mamra or Californian Almonds ?


Based on the the research reports, Mamra i.e iranian almonds are cultivated organically without using chemicals. Californian almonds are passed through chemical process. The process reduces the healthy oil content from them. The oil content in mamra is much higher than the Californian almonds. Californian almonds are much more sweeter due to the chemical process they undergo. Hence they are ideal for cooking. Almond oil is also very beneficial when used for hair and skin. Hence,my opinion- Soak around 5 Mamra every night in water, and in the morning peel the skin and eat them on empty stomach for best benefits. For cooking and as hair/body oil use Californian almonds
